textile index numbers of market prices of raw cotton
Cotton
prices witness continued gains
During
the week ended July 4, 2002 cotton prices showed a more or less
upward trend. In the Super Fine category, Shankar-6 gained 112 points
while MCU-5 was the only loser with a drop of 28 points. In the
Medium Coarse variety, SGJ-34 gained 112 points, LRA-5166 57 points
and NHH-44 56 points.
