EICA introduces online trading in cotton futures
The East India Cotton Association (EICA) has finally commenced the much awaited online trading in the Indian Cotton Contract (ICC).

More credit facilities needed for SSIs: PHDCCI

The Union textiles minister Mr Kashiram Rana has said that financial assitance of Rs 1,800 crore to 308 ginning and pressing factories in Gujarat will help reduce contamination in cotton and enable various types of Gujarat cotton including Hybrid-4, Hybrid-6 and Kalyan to be marketed clean.
