The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry said provisions under
the credit guarantee scheme should be enhanced to Rs 1,000 crore
from the present Rs 100 crore to facilitate small scale industries

to give financial aid to 308 factories in Gujarat
The Union textiles minister Mr Kashiram Rana has said that financial
assitance of Rs 1,800 crore to 308 ginning and pressing factories
in Gujarat will help reduce contamination in cotton and enable various
types of Gujarat cotton including Hybrid-4, Hybrid-6 and Kalyan
to be marketed clean.
