prices show marginal gains
During the week ended July 11, 2002 cotton prices showed a rising
trend. In the Super Fine category, MECH-1 rose by 85 points and
Shankar-6 by 56 points.

Advisory Board intervention sought to stop JPMA dilution
Indian Jute Mills’ Association (IJMA), the apex body of
jute mills in India, has said it has sought Jute Advisory Board’s
(JAB) intervention to solve impending crisis in the jute industry
following dilution of compulsory packaging norms for foodgrains
and sugar.
