Pantone
adds 175 new colours to Pantone Textile Colour System
E-Tex
Staff - Mumbai
Pantone
has added as many as 175 new colours to the existing 1,757 in its
textile colour system, after the last colour range extension in
1998. According to Pantone, the addition was made after collecting
data, tracking colour movements, observing the purchasing patterns
of customers and working with a host of experts from around the
globe.
The
comprehensive mix was created to address the crossover in colour
palettes from fashion, home, architecture, interiors and industrial
design. And, from a technical standpoint, weve worked with
our dyestuff licensees worldwide to create a new range of reactive
dyes especially developed for cotton fibres and fabrics, stated
a Pantone release.
