textile index numbers of market prices of raw cotton
Cotton
prices decline on correction
During
the week ended August 16, 2002 cotton prices witnessed southward
trend. In the Super Fine category, MECH and Shankar declined by
85 points and 141 points respectively, While DCH-32 and MCU-5 maintained
previous week’s level. In the Medium Coarse segment, LRA and
SGJ lost 56 points and 84 points respectively.
