Wool Conference 2003
The
World Wool Conference was held in Hanover International Hotel and
Club, Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK on March 10-11, 2003.
The
aim of this conference was to provide a forum for leading textile
entrepreneurs from all backgrounds in the field of wool and many
parts of the world to discuss achievements in their fields of specialisation.
The lecture programme was covered by 38 distinguished speakers representing
17 countries. The conference covered the latest scientific, technological
and standardisation achievements in wool technology on a global
basis covering a wide range of issues including fibre, yarn, processes,
dyeing and finishing, fashion and design, floorcovering, environment,
marketing, planning, forecasting and new products. The conference
programme was designed for an extremely wide range of personnel
engaged in the processing/finishing/ fashion & design/and marketing
of wool in one form or the other.
