DyStar introduces 10 new acid dye inks for Piezo printing

E-Tex Staff - Mumbai

DyStar is introducing a full range of water-soluble Jettex A inks for wool, silk and polyamide. These new products expand the possibilities of digital textile printing. The new Jettex A product range comprises seven standard and three supplementary inks, all of which have been specially developed for use on Piezo printers. With these new products, digital printing can cover the same colour space as textile printing with conventional acid dyes.

The newly developed Jettex A inks are based on the acid dyes used in conventional textile printing processes.

This greatly improves the transfer from digital printing to conventional production units.

The new inks allow digital printing on silk to meet top quality requirements. Moreover, with the Jettex A Flavine 7GFL E-0 and Jettex A Rhodamine BN E-0 fluorescent inks, digital printing can now be used to produce attractive designs on swimwear.

The new acid dye inks complement the present range of Jettex R reactive inks for Piezo printing. DyStar also markets reactive and acid inks for bubble jet printing.

Meanwhile, even as the company anticipates a difficult 2003, it is expanding its services to the textile industry. DyStar has embarked on a number of projects to raise its market share in the Chinese market. It is also stepping up its presence in other emerging textile markets such as India, Vietnam and Pakistan.

This Week
EDIT
Better days ahead
The recent rally in textile counters was overdue for some time now. The domestic industry is certainly turning around, if one goes by the financial performance of textile companies for the fiscal ended March 2003.
