Oobe’s winter collection at NGF

E-Tex Staff - Mumbai

Oobe showcased its Winter 2003 Collection at a fashion show at the CMAI’s 44th National Garment Fair in Mumbai, that drew 2,500 manufacturers and 15,000 retailers from the garment industry.

The styles are comfortable classics in bright colours. Tie-dye effect and sand blasting techniques have been used to advantage. Jackets are an essential part of the winter collection with fabrics from suede to corduroy, cotton woven to PVC.

Says Nilesh Mehta, managing director, India Fashions, which owns the Oobe brand, "For the first time, encouraged by the phenomenal success of our womenswear range, Oobe is entering the menswear category. We hence previewed the menswear range at the CMAI fashion show."

The collection comprises tops, wovens, sweaters, bottoms, trousers and jackets for ladies and men’s casual shirts (stripes and prints) and sweaters. The brand is available all over India through its exclusive stores, Globus (Mumbai and Chennai), Lifestyle (all India), Big Jos (Delhi).
