‘Backlash’ possible if tariff barriers not removed: US
High tariff barriers in India were affecting growth of Indo-US trade resulting in trade deficit in favour of the former, the US consul-general Mr George N Sibley said.

FIEO to organise buyer-seller meet at Riyadh, Dammam & Jeddah
The Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) has decided to organise buyer-seller meets at the three major business centers of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in Saudi Arabia from September 12 to 23.

Indo-Thailand FTA to boost bilateral trade
Upbeat about the prospects of the proposed Indo-Thailand free trade agreement (FTA), the Thai deputy prime minister Dr Korn Dabbransi said it will give a big boost to bilateral trade which is expected to touch US$ 2 billion by the end of next year.

The anti-competitive entry barriers in foreign markets was a major obstacle in promoting a free trade order globally, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has said.
