Registrations for ITMA Forum crosses the 300 mark

E-Tex Staff - Mumbai

With under 90 days to go, the delegate registrations for the new ITMA Forum have smashed the 300 mark. All eyes will be on the innovative conference, which has delighted organisers.

"We are pleased the textile community shares our vision. Yes, the ITMA forum is different. It looks at strategic business issues, in six round table discussions. Every discussion is driven by delegates, who have 90-minutes to ask their questions to speakers. We hope every delegate leaves with solid ideas of how to profit in this time of greater change for textiles," stated Ms Charlotte McCrudden, forum manager, ITMA.

The organisers also announced that three more textile chiefs have joined the new ITMA Forum - Mr Heinz Bachmann, president of Santex AG, Switzerland, Mr Guillaume Sarkozy, president of the Union des Industries Textiles, France, and Mr Geoff Hemingway, president of Cobble Blackburn, UK.

The new textile minister has rightly evinced a very keen interest in the development of powerlooms by announcing a special relief package.
