Tencel, Allen Solly unveil 10th anniversary premium collection

Tencel the internationally acclaimed, new generation, hi-fashion fibre and Allen Solly, India’s premium relaxed workwear brand recently marked their business partnership with the launch of a new product range and technical innovation programme in fabric development, garment processing and garment manufacturing technology.

The benefits of this programme will immediately be shared and presented to customers through their latest upcoming bold festive colour collection - ‘Tencel from Allen Solly -- Workwear for both men and women’. Fabrics used for the collection are a blend of Tencel with polyester, linen, and cotton for a soft, relaxed and comfortable look and feel. Worldover, TENCEL is widely acknowledged as an environmentally friendly cellulosic fibre that blends easily with polyester and cotton to produce fabrics that maximise comfort and function.

This dynamic collection will include textured weaves with interesting patterns like dented self-checks and two tone fil-a-fils with a bright and colourful palette, that is so Allen Solly - the must-have oranges, reds, new age blues and black.

The menswear shirt collection is priced between Rs 999 and Rs 1,299. The womenswear shirt collection is priced at Rs 799 onwards and trouser collection at Rs 1,000 onwards.

Tencel is a revolutionary cellulosic biodegradable fibre from the UK-based Accordis group. Tencel is identified by its singular softness and luxurious drape. This versatile fabric can be blended equally well with cottons, polyesters and other yarns, as it has the softness of silk, the strength of polyester and high absorbency of cotton. The fibre is made from wood pulp, a natural and renewable raw material that is harvested from managed, sustainable forests.

Tencel opened its liaison office operations in Bangalore for South Asia in the year 2000. Tencel in India also serves as a trend circulation centre for the Indian sub continent, guiding mills on innovations, colour references and new fabric technologies.
