Caipo slubbing microprocessor

Caipo Automazione Industriale equipments for fancy yarns, has worked out, for a continuous improvement of the slub yarn quality and in order to give more space to creativity, a new slubbing device, technologically advanced, very flexible and of easy utilisation, whose name is: CSM90.

Advantages and features

  • It is possible to get every slub length but not shorter than the fibre length; on the open-end frames the minimum slub length is equal to the circumference of the rotor fitted on the machine;
  • Quick and easy call of the programs by means of a menu;
  • The slubs production is possible with a completely random sequence or with a repetition which can be set according to the effect desired on the fabric;
  • Internal memory containing 10 programs which are kept stored also in case of lack of power supply for 1 month;
  • Solid external cartridge on which you can store 30 programs available at once;
  • Constancy and possibility to repeat the preset programs with the control of the electric motor and of all preset parameters by the microprocessor;
  • Setting of the slub lengths and counts according to the program and real-time electronic control of the parameters and of the yarn obtained;
  • No damage with respect to the average count of the slub yarn resistance, thanks to the electronic control of the first drawing (or drawings) acceleration ramps which avoid the kinematic slacks and therefore the cut after the slub;
  • Easy and simple installation on every kind of spinning frame. The machine stop required is reduced for very long spinning frames too, where it’s necessary the acceleration synchronism on head and tall to eliminate the twisting moment of the drafting assemblies;
  • Simple and quick cut-out of the slubs production through an electronic key; no mechanical intervention is necessary;
  • Low cost of maintenance.

Edit
Gearing up for future contingencies
It is high time that the domestic industry formulate a comprehensive strategy to face the future trade challenges. Producers require to prepare themselves for trade-related contingencies which if not attended properly, may eat into their market share.
