Express textile index numbers of market prices of raw cotton
Super Fine, Medium Coarse witness mixed trend
During the week ended October 16, 2003, cotton prices in both
varieties witnessed mixed fortunes. In the Super Fine category, MCU-5 lost 84
points while Shankar-6 gained 28 points. In the Medium Coarse category, both
LRA-5166 and SGJ-34 rose by 84 points each while NHH-44 fell by 28 points.
