Express textile index numbers of market prices of raw cotton
Super Fine, Medium Coarse register gains
During the week ended November 6, 2003, cotton prices continued
the upward trend. In the Super Fine category, MCU-5 gained 196 points followed
by DCH-32 and Shankar-6 with a rise of 140 points each. In the Medium Coarse
variety, while SGJ-34 gained 28 points, LRA-5166 lost 56 points.
