Indo Rama Synthetics (IRSL), India’s largest dedicated polyester
manufacturer recently entered into an alliance with Zimmer AG, a
leading German construction and engineering company, for their Rs
900 crore polyester expansion project in Butibori, Maharashtra.

WestPoint Stevens announced a further realignment of manufacturing
capacity in which the Company will close DIXIE and DUNSON plants,
LaGrange, Ga., FAIRFAX GREIGE PLANT, Valley, Ala., and COUSHATTA
(La.) PLANT. LANIER PLANT, Valley will be converted to towel production.
