Bobbin holders from Titan Paints

Titan Paints and Chemicals, an associate company of Lakshmi Machine Works, among
the country’s largest textile company, has successfully carved a niche
in the manufacture of bobbin holders. Even as the plan to start manufacture
of bobbin holders was conceived in 1994, full-fledged production of the same
started in 2002 after series of R&D and trial runs. Titan Paints manufactures
two types of bobbin holders - rotating and non-rotating, and has a facility
to manufacture 1,50,000 pieces of bobbin holders per month. Rotating bobbin
holders can hold roving bobbins in the ring frame creel and ensure uniform unwinding
of roving to be fed to the drafting system. The smooth movement prevents stretching
and over-running of the rove. Non-rotating bobbin holders are employed for transport
system and loading and unloading of the bobbins.
“The trouble-free functioning of Titan bobbin holders is ascribed to the
choice of its components, which have been designed in consultation with experts
in component design, tool design, material technology and processing,”
according to company officials.

Other features:
Rocking System
The spherical rocking system helps in easy loading and unloading of bobbin on
creel regardless of the position of the row of the creel. It helps the holder
to perform smoothly even when the creel is not straight. Even while rocking
or when misaligned due to air blast, spherical centered system helps the hanger
to perform smoothly with a constant brake force.
Internal Brake System
The internal brakes work the hanger axial vertically. The
spring, which is with the spherical centre system, can come into its most ideal
function, both in performance and more stable quality.
Bearing System
The bearing system is of spherically centred design with supreme quality stainless
steel balls of extraordinary strength. It has self-lubrication system and hence
is maintenance free.
Holding System
Improved design of the holding lever holds all types of bobbins without causing
any damage to them. The conical slide centers the bobbin perfectly.
