Suessen, Jingwei co-operate to enhance Elite Compact Spinning Technology in Chinese market

The Suessen EliTe Compact Spinning System, introduced at ITMA ’99, quickly gained a reputation of being the most versatile compact spinning system. To date, the EliTe Compact Spinning System has been sold for over 700,000 compact ring spindles worldwide. With more than 250,000 EliTe Compact Spindles, Suessen is by far the most important supplier for compact yarn technology to the Chinese market. To improve the already strong presence in China, Suessen has signed a co-operation contract with the Chinese Jingwei Textile Machinery Co, the undisputed leader for textile machinery in China. Jingwei will supply their compact ring spinning machines with the EliTe CompactSet, for which the core technology components are delivered from Suessen and other parts are manufactured under license by Jingwei.

At the CITME 2004 exhibition in Beijing, China, Jingwei will present their new ring spinning model 1530 equipped with EliTe CompactSet. With this co-operation both companies expect to extend their business and market share in the Chinese market; also the companies will work together to deter possible infringements of their intellectual property rights for the benefit of their customers. Both parties will strive to further enhance the acceptance of the EliTe Compact Spinning Technology in the worldwide textile market.
