Express textile index numbers of market prices of raw cotton

Super Fine steady, Medium Coarse gains

During the week ended August 26, 2004, cotton prices showed a more or less steady trend. In the Super Fine category all varieties remained constant at their previous week’s levels. In the Medium Coarse segment, NHH-44 jumped by 112 points while

LRA-5166 showed a gain of 84 points.
