Draft-Air perfects the art of industrial climate control

E-Tex Staff - Mumbai

Climate control, regulation and conditioning to the precise needs of a wide array of industrial situations and across differing climate zones is both an art and a science. And Draft-Air has perfected this art and established itself as a market leader.

From humble beginnings two decades ago, under the able guidance of its founder Mr G D Panchal, Draft-Air’s state-of-the-art humidification and ventilation systems have met with success as they expand markets across industries and geographically.

Ventilation requirements vary widely depending upon the type of industries and nature of work. In certain industries besides normal ventilation, air pressurisation is also required. Draft-Air’s philosophy of treating each client, his requirements and conditions as separate and unique, and to design from scratch for each such set of parameters, as opposed to standardised solutions, has paid rich dividends. Creative design, incorporating innovative concepts, sophisticated equipment and processes worldwide, coupled with a passion for delivering only the very best, sticking to pre-determined schedules and continued after sales monitoring and upgradation back-up, has been the hallmark of Draft-Air’s commitment. Mr G D Panchal is supported by an excellent team of highly qualified, experienced and talented professionals and the most up-to-date computer assisted system design whose synergetic insights can ensure that Draft-Air remains a market leader in its field. Mr Panchal’s professional calibre found recognition in the form of being drafted on NITRA’s expert panel on ‘Humidification and ventilation systems in the textile industry’.

The company’s range of products include:

  • Textile air engineering (Humidification systems, refrigeration systems, automatic control system, fibre recovery plants and yarn conditioning.
  • Ventilation and air pressurisation system (Power plants, steel plants, cement industries, bulk drugs and pharmaceuticals, electronics manufacturing units, workshop buildings, cinema/community halls and mines and tunnels.
  • Special purpose fans for power plants, metallurgical industries, boiler industries, radiators and heat exchangers, process industries, cement plants, petrochemicals and fertiliser industries.

Fans are one of the important equipments for a ventilation system. They impart energy to the air for its movement to ventilation areas. The efficient design of a proper air distribution system and air exhaust system is a vital factor for the success of a ventilation system. Draft-Air manufactures centrifugal ventilation fans, centrifugal process fans and axial flow fans. Draft-Air has also introduced its centralised textile waste collection systems, a total solution for efficient removal of waste from machines.

Edit
DEPB debacle
The sharp reduction in DEPB rates on textiles has created a significant doubt in industry’s mind about government’s policy intention to help it prepare for the global challenges in the post-MFA regime.
Home textiles: A key driver for textile exports

After more than 40 years of import quotas, the textile and clothing sector will become subject to the general rules of General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) from January 1, 2005.
