jittery as sentiment turns negative
After weeks of uptrend, the Sensex moved southward during the week

Wal-Mart Stores Inc, the worlds No. 1 retailer, has said December
sales would be at the top end of its prior estimate on better-than-expected
post-Christmas spending, driving its shares up 1 per cent.

net loss narrows, shares fall
Monsanto has posted a narrower quarterly loss on higher seed sales
even as the agribusiness company struggled with stiff competition
