Clariant launches new textile products

Clariant (I) Ltd, conducted a customer meet at Hotel Renaissance on December 8, to launch a number of new products.

These include:

  • Sandoclean MWP Liq. - A new concept for one bath pretreatment of knits
  • Bactosol DEN and Bactosol ADF - Enzymes for garments
  • Sandofix V 1010 - For improvement in chlorine fastness of reactive dyed printed fabric.
  • Sandofix RSL- Formaldehyde free, no foaming fixative agent, for improvement in wash fastness with no effect on shades of reactive dyes (and direct dyes)
  • Appretan ECO - A single shot softener for polyester saris.
  • Nuva TTC - Durable finishing product for oil and water repellent finishing of textiles.
  • Sandolube OEW - A special lubricant for knitted and woven goods especially open-end yarns of all types of fibres.
  • Sandolube Ecosoft Liq - An economical cationic softener and sewability improver for textile goods of all types of fibres.
  • Arkofil MSVN, Arkofil TBS 10 - Sizing chemicals
  • Dyes range : Forons, Diresuls, Nylosans, Sandolans & Drimarenes Sandolec RAMF - Polymeric retention aid for removal of suspended solids and dye, and a prefiltering aid for RO
  • Spin finish Elfugin Oil - A highly effective antistat for dyed and texturised polyester yarn.
  • Elgugin Knit Liq - Effective knitting oil for all types of knitting machines.

The full team of Clariant product line managers, marketing managers and top level management team including Mr P R Rastogi (managing director), Mr A K Prasad (vice president, business unit, textiles) were present at the meet. The objective of the meet was to solve the technical problems and to process packages and products in various segments in textile processing like pretreatment, optical brightening, dyeing and printing, finishing, technical textiles, sizing and spin finish, effluent treatment and dyes. The customer meet helped face-to-face personalised interaction with all the technicians and owners who attended in large numbers from all over India.
