R L Toshniwal elected SRTEPC chairman

Mr R L Toshniwal, chairman and managing director of Banswara Syntex has been elected the chairman of The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC).

Mr Toshniwal, a former chairman of SRTEPC is also chairman of Indian Spinners Association and past president of Rajasthan Textile Mills Association and a member of the managing committee of Indian Cotton Mills Federation.

Mr Toshniwal, a textile technologist from Leeds University of UK with experience of nearly five decades is a pioneer of the Indian synthetic textile industry. Mr Ambuj Kasliwal has been elected vice chairman of the council. Mr Kasliwal, director of S Kumars group, has experience of international marketing of textiles, of over 26 years.
