Tommy Hilfiger, one of the most successful designer labels in the world recently announced the launch of its Spring/Summer 2005 collection. The Spring/Summer 2005 is all about preppy sportswear with vibrant colours and attention to detail. For women, classic preppy pieces are re-invented with new colours and prints. For example, the reshaped classic polo - adding feminine necklines and complementing paisley and floral prints. The collection comprises clothing that is fun, spirited and easy to wear. For men, there are invigorating colours, styles and details. The Spring/Summer 2005 collection was highlighted at a party held at ‘Red Light’, which saw models like Acquin Pais, Upen Patel, Candice Pinto, Aanchal Kumar, Kiran Rao and Pia and Binal Trivedi along with DJ Whosane sashaying in Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer Collection 2005. The Tommy Hilfiger offering in India includes Mens Jeanswear; Mens Sportswear; Women’s Sportswear and Junior Jeans for Women. The store also retail accessories like handbags, belts, small leather goods, caps, watches, under garments, fragrances, footwear and the Tommy Hilfiger Home collection, comprising the Bed and Bath range.

The Tommy Hilfiger stores across India replicate the look & feel of Tommy Hilfiger Stores across the world. The glass facade of windows with its interesting composition of specially imported mannequins from Brazil and teak wood flooring creates a vibrant look. Its spacious interiors are covered with carpets made of sisal with imported leather trimmings. Photo frames carry the spirit and inspiration of the brand Tommy Hilfiger. Interesting use of large mirrors with plaque beading and sofas, finish the look giving the store a warm and cosy feel. Fixtures and lighting have been used to their advantage and highlight the collection on display.

Tommy Hilfiger launched its apparel line in India in April 2004 though Arvind Murjani Brands, a joint venture between the Murjani group and Arvind Brands.
