NEW PROJECTS

Bombay Rayon to set up Rs 160 cr project

Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd is planning to put up Rs 160 crore integrated modern textiles and garment project at the Doddaballapur apparel park in Karnataka. The project slated to be operational by March 2006, will create facilities for yarn dyeing, processing (one lakh metre), weaving and production of 22,000 pieces per day of garments. The project implementation will commence shortly.


Madura Garments to invest Rs 70 cr in brand building

Madura Garments has decided to invest Rs 70 crore to set up around 50 flagship stores in the next three years for its premium brand, Louis Philippe. The move is aimed at evolving the brand into a Rs 350 crore brand from the current Rs 175 crore in order to grab the growing brand conscious domestic market.

The company is also doubling its existing manufacturing facilities to meet the requirement.
