Aftershock’s Rene Derhy range

Aftershock, UK’s lead designer and winner of the UK Export Award 2004, has introduced dresses for summer 2005 from the French, Rene Derhy range that together with Aftershock’s evening wear, accessories, bags and shoes creates the complete brand for women. Feminine and luxurious, the new Rene Derhy range of chiffon dresses has been designed, keeping every conceivable occasion in mind. The styles are a blend of classic and avant-garde and are available in a kaleidoscope of pastel and warm summer hues. The elegant range of dresses, sport mostly floral and some abstract motifs on delicately printed chiffons, some with the clever use of patches of net, arresting appliques and smatterings of minimal and tasteful embroidery in all the right, and not always obvious, places. And the multitude of warm complementary colours in varying shades of turquoise, blue, old rose, lavender, coral, orange, green and many more marry to conjure up the freshness of a country garden in full bloom.

With different necklines and spaghetti straps, layered and asymmetric hems of varying lengths, the new Rene Derhy range of elegant chiffon dresses for summer 2005 are truly feminine, bringing affordable glamour to every woman. They are designed to compliment the female form and can be worn for a day at the races, over bikinis at the pool, to a casual business lunch and also to a cocktail party or brunch.

There’s also a cool Rene Derhy range of linen styles in colours like white and turquoise with stone embellishments in floral motifs.

Started by Hiro and Radhika Harjani in 1992, Aftershock has grown into a pret behemoth that currently has 17 stores, showrooms and wholesale outlets as well as franchises in London, Dubai, Milan, Madrid, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Stockholm, Israel, Moscow, Dusseldorf and India..
