UK inspection service sets up testing lab in Mumbai

Wakefield Inspection Services (WIS) of Liverpool, UK, recently inaugurated their testing lab at Mumbai. Mr Peter Wakefield of WIS had specially flown in to Mumbai for the inauguration, held at the Hotel Hilton Tower recently.

Wakefield Inspection Services (WIS) Liverpool has established the standard for reliability and quality in global inspections since its establishment in 1993. Their cotton testing laboratories worldwide have opted for Premier ART and Europe.

Another Premier ART for Wakefield Inspection Services Riga (LATVIA) also inaugurated through remote operation from Mumbai. Premier demonstrated its ability to remotely operate a Premier instrument, through Internet. Live demonstration of ART at Latvia, was shown to the audience at Hilton Tower, Mumbai.

Premier ART manufactured by Premier Evolvics, has been globally accepted as a standard for High Volume Cotton Testing. More than 180 Premier High Volume equipment for cotton are working worldwide. Premier ART was also evaluated by the world renowned Faser Institute, Bremen and has approved its reliability, precision and accuracy.

Mr Peter Wakefield who spoke at the function thanked the Indian cotton community for supporting the Wakefields and also Premier for their support in setting up the laboratory. Mr Suresh Dholakia recalled the fond relationship Mr Frank Wakefield, father of Peter Wakefield had with the Indian cotton companies.
