Lakshmi RoCoS Compact Spinning System
An achievement through competence
The Ring Spinning Technology is moving ahead much faster with a high degree
of certainty that The Future in Ring Spinning will belong to Compact Yarn
Technology. The market share of compact yarn is increasing in the global
market due to the twin advantages of lower hairiness and higher strength. Lakshmi
RoCoS offers an economical, reliable and flexible solution for the production
of compact yarn.
Spinning triangle
The fibre band will be reduced to the desired yarn count at the main drafting
zone in the conventional ring spinning System. Once the fibres emerge from the
nip of the delivery drafting roller, the spinning triangle is formed mainly
due to the loss of cohesion within the fibre band. Due to the formation of spinning
triangle, the stress imparted over the peripheral fibres will be higher than
the fibres at the core-ref.
The peripheral fibres which are under high tension, during the process of twisting
will try to move away from protruding fibres, causing hairiness in the yarn.
The spinning triangle, in addition to the imbalance created in the stress level
between the peripheral fibres and fibres, at the core will have further decisive
influence on:
- Alignment of fibres towards the axis of the yarn.
- Reduction in the strength of yarn
The insufficient yarn strength becomes evident when the yarn is subjected to
tensile load in the subsequent process, where the peripheral fibres which are
already under high tension will try to break first, exhibiting lower yarn strength.
The increased hairiness, protruding fibres on the yarn surface will influence
the appearance of yarn. Hence, it is imperative to eliminate the formation of
spinning triangle to obtain higher and strength and lower hairiness.
Elimination of spinning triangle
Lakshmi RoCoS Compact Spinning System eliminates the formation of spinning triangle
with magnetic compacting.
- The fibres emerging after the drafting process at
the nip of the delivery drafting roller, are compacted through a specially
designed path in the magnetic compactor.
- The specially designed path has wider opening at
the entry point which gradually narrows down at the exit.
This principle of compacting allows both peripheral fibres and fibres at the
core to remain under equal tension which contributes for enhancing the strengthen
of the yarn. In addition, the cohesiveness between the fibres will also be improved
due to the controlled movement of fibres and this, in turn, will not allow the
fibres to deviate from its axis, resulting in the reduction of protruding hairs.
Key benefits
Improvement on yarn characteristics:
- Minimum hairiness
- Higher strength
- Improved fabric behaviour
- Better performance in downstream process
Quality results
The magnetic compacting technology yields better quality yarn in terms of hairiness
(S3 - Zweigle) and single yarn strength (RKM) values.
Cost benefits
The superior cost performance ratio is not only the reason to invest in Lakshmi
RoCoS, but also other economic factors, such as:
- Low operating cost
- No additional power required. Hence contributes
saving of Rs 1.35 to 5.00 per every km of yarn produced.
- Higher productivity by optimizing twist insertion
and low ends down.
- Less Pneumafil waste by 0.3 to 0.6 per cent.
- Ergonomic design for efficient and easy handling
during maintenance.
- Benefit from total recurring cost and investment
is multi-fold.
- Further benefit like elimination of waxing during
winding and singeing process
- Retrofitment in the existing P3/1 drafting
Lakshmi RoCoS Compact Spinning makes all the difference
Thanks to the innovative technology incorporated in this system which offers
the following.
- More cost effective
- Enhance quality in terms of hairiness (S3-Zweigle)
and Single yarn strength (RKM).
- User friendly to operate.
