Woolmark presents Wool Trends and What’s New with Wool at Texworld

Visit the Woolmark stand at Texworld Hall A2, Stand A02 to see What’s New with Wool and experience the wool sensation of the stand with a ’mur touchoir’ of Super S fabrics and the cocooning aesthetics of the wool walls, chairs and carpets provided by Woolmark licensees VFG, Germany and Creatuft, Belgium.

Woolmark, along with IWTO, will be showcasing a wall of Super S fabrics from licensed weavers highlighting wool innovation and recent developments in fine and superfine wool fabrics. A resource guide is available on the stand to provide a ’one stop’ wool resource featuring Woolmark licensees exhibiting at the show and detailing their fabric ranges.

Today licensees and their customers demand earlier colour, yarn and fabric trend information as the timeframe in delivery of products to the retailer and their customer shortens. The Woolmark Company works with leading consultants in order to be able to release the trends early for those companies who start working on the Spring/Summer season directly following Premiere Vision, and will launch their Spring/Summer trends at both shows to allow early colour decisions to be made. Woolmark Colour and Fabric Trends are developed each season with Milan based consultant Esther Lorber, who also works with Woolmark’s European offices to deliver workshops for licensees. Esther Lorber will be available throughout both shows on the Woolmark stand for information on wool colour, fabric and styling for the Autumn/Winter season and provide an early in-sight into the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2007 season. There will be a trend presentation from Esther at Texworld.
