South-based Suryajyoti Spinning Mills has unveiled a major
expansion plan involving an investment worth Rs 195 crore. According to
an official release, in the phase-I, the company will be adding 25,000
spindles at a cost of Rs 45 crore. This will take its overall capacity
to around 90,000 spindles In the Phase-II, the company will be setting
up a fully integrated weaving, processing and garmenting capacity with
Rs 150 crore outlay.

Hanil Era Textiles has partially commenced its weaving
capacity with 36 looms to produce home furnishing textiles. This partial
commencement is part of the planned capacity of 108 looms. The remaining
capacity is likely to go on stream by the end of the calendar year. The
cost of Rs 62 crore has been funded through a mix of debt and internal
accruals.
