Italian furnishing fabric maker eyes Indian market
The
Italian Trade Commission (ICE) has organised a trade delegation from Italy comprising
of Italian companies who are seriously looking at possibilities of business
and industrial cooperation with Indian companies.
The ICE has organised one-to-one meetings between the Indian and Italian companies,
on October 10, 2005, at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai.
One of the delegates, Pozzi Spa. Industria Tessile, manufacturer of classical
jacquard fabrics for upholstery and furnishing fabrics, is planning to make
forays into the Indian market.
According to officials of the company, "We are looking at collaborations
with Indian companies and also with importers and distributors of furnishing
fabrics, as also with suppliers of furniture to the hotel industry, interior
designers and also furniture manufacturers. We hope to be able to establish
contacts through this visit."
