Gumatex signs agreement with Dubai firm

The Spanish company Gumatex S.L., manufacturers of Jumberca circular machines for knitwear is going to set up its commercial, technical and logistics centre for Middle East countries in Dubai. Jumberca has signed an agreement with the company Omran Textile, which with the support of the Spanish company will provide all the services offered by their head office in Badalona (Spain).

Operations financing With the creation of this structure in Dubai, Gumatex S.L. intends to offer customers in Iran, Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, etc a much more culturally and professionally personalised service.

-Sweater machines, designed for sweater fabric production, highly automated; the TLJ-6E is the most representative model, available up to now from 5 to 12 gauge, and innovated in the new 14 gauge version. Another important model is the DWN-3E in 5 to 14 gauges, also innovated to produce link-link fabrics with perfect plating effects.

Cylinder and dial knitting machines. The company has a large variety of models that are able to satisfy all customers' requirements. The most complete model is the DJE-6LSTT in 14, 16 and 18 gauge, with in-cylinder electronic needle-by-needle selection, four-colour electronic stripers with canceller, double transfer (dial to cylinder and cylinder to dial), automatic work feeder canceller allowing continuous or garment-length fabrics, jacquard fabrics, jacquard with transfer fabrics, including fabrics with a separating thread, borders and ground fabric only in cylinder or only in dial. The machines are also available with their possibilities limited: only stripers, only transfer, etc. Other models with 4 tracks and manual selection lever, with automatic working feeder canceller, lie in the MIL-T and MIL machine ranges, suitable for producing garment length interlock or rib fabrics, with a separating thread and border, especially where the large number of feeders allows very high productivity.

-Single jersey knitting machines. There is a general offer of this kind of machine, but the most important models are the striper machines with electronic needle selection or 4 tracks commanded by manual selection levers. The most competitive models are the SJE-4L and the SJE-5L machines, with 48 and 72 working feeders, 4 or 3-colour stripers with canceller and electronic needle selection.
