Mahavir Spinning formulates Rs 1,000-cr plan
Provogue plans to foray into mall management services

Mahavir Spinning has chalked out a major plan to invest Rs 1,000 crore in setting up a new capacity in Madhya Pradesh as also modernising its existing facilities in spinning as also weaving. The project is expected to be implemented in the next three-five years. With the merger of fabric business of Vardhman, the company has now changed its focus towards value-added fabrics from cotton yarn. Moreover, the export market for yarn has stagnated over the years.

Provogue India has said it is planning to foray into the business of providing mall management services. The company may also invest in the upcoming mall properties as and when the opportunity arises on case to case basis, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
